Iherir is a small oasis village approximately 200 kilometers north of Djanet along the Tassili n"Ajjer mountain range. Located in a river valley, Iherir has mild temperatures and lush vegetation. It is an incredibly beautiful place. Prehistoric art, dating back to 9000 BC, can be found in the nearby Tadjelahine plateau.
