Tadrart Rouge is a large expanse of desert inside Tassili n'Ajjer. It is famous for its reddish-orange sand dunes and immense rock formations. It is a popular place for camping and touring the numerous prehistoric rock paintings. Tadrart Rouge means "Red Mountain".
